What is physiotherapy?

Tamara physiotherapy

Physiotherapist

Tamara Lo-Fo-Sang was born in the Netherlands and raised in Aruba. Both her parents being bilingual decided to speak more Dutch so that it would be beneficial for further studies in the Netherlands. Following Colegio Arubano Tamara studied physiotherapy in Leiden and graduated in 1992. She went on to work in the Netherlands, Germany and Curacao to return to Aruba in 1996. After free lancing from a dependance in Savaneta an practice in San Nicolas was opened where it was much needed. As an general physiotherapist Tamara has been working consecutively for 23 years in the neighborhood where she was raised. With a total amount of 27 years of work experience she hopes to be around for many more years of grateful service. Your health, our satisfaction!

Front Office Assistance

Patricia Duque spend most of her adult life working in Aruba. The last five years she has been working for Physiocenter San Nicolas and expanding her skills from the front office to helping out in the gym with machines and exercises.

She is mostly fluent in Spanish, Papiamento and English and gets her share of free Dutch lessons from the great variety of patients that we see per day. Trying to exercise when your in pain is the hardest thing to do, but guidance, a good laugh and straight talk is enough incentive to come back for more and reach the program goals.
